Tough to out-ugly the Fishstix, but I kinda liked the Rockies' unis. Vancouver's sweater in the early 80's was so over-the-top awful that it was mesmerizing.
I also think the initial foray into 3rd jerseys (mid 90's) was a bit of a gong show. Remember LA's Burger King effort? How about the cartoon Ducks jersey?
At the end of the day, though, you really have to wonder how the Islanders Fisherman logo and jersey design went up the marketing chain of command with everyone giving it a thumb's up, right? For that reason alone, the Fishstix design takes the trophy.
